Jason G. Souyias, D.D.S.

Dr. Souyias was raised and continues to live in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he was awarded the UDM Research Committee Award both as a third and fourth year student and the American Academy of Periodontology Annual Student Award, the highest award a graduating dental student can achieve in periodontics.

Following dental school Dr. Souyias pursued a three year residency in periodontics at the renowned Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. OHSU offered a cutting-edge program focused on the clinical treatment of patients. The Pacific Northwest is a center of education for many of today’s top dental specialists and training with them has allowed Dr. Souyias to bring a fresh perspective to the treatment of his patients here in Michigan.

Our Staff

We are proud to have an exceptional group of dental professionals on our staff. Here is a brief introduction to each of the caring and experienced staff members you will meet in the office:

Debbie Kuenzel, Office Manager:

Debbie has worked at Aesthetic Periodontology since 2006, and has over 25 years dental office experience. She is likely one of the first smiling faces or friendly voices you will come across at the practice.

She manages all financial aspects of your care, and is available for questions regarding finances, billing, and dental benefits. 

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.

Donna L. Lawrence, Clinical Manager:

Donna has 15 years of clinical dental experience. She manages the clinical aspects of the practice, assists Dr. Souyias during surgery, and provides patients with oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. With her many years of experience, she is quite knowledgeable and is available to address any concerns you may have regarding medications or procedures. 

In her free time, Donna enjoys camping and spending time with family.

Sue Bielski, Hygienist:

Sue provides cleanings and maintenance care for our patients, and provides guidance on how to maintain optimal oral health through home care. Sue has worked in periodontal practices since 1991 and is continually excited to be involved in this ever-evolving field of work. She regularly participates in Continued Education courses to keep up on new advances.

In her free time, she enjoys water skiing and snow skiing with her family.

Kayla M. Hill, Surgical Assistant:

Kayla helps to prepare patients before a procedure, provides an extra set of hands during surgery, and provides patients with hygiene and maintenance care instructions. She has worked as a surgical assistant for 6 years.

Kayla is always available to patients before and after surgery to discuss any questions that they have after meeting with Dr. Souyias. She is very knowledgeable on all aspects of dentistry, and prides herself on being approachable and understanding with patients. Please do not hesitate to speak with her regarding any aspect of your care.

Amber M. Lehr, Hygienist

Amber provides cleanings and maintenance care for our patients, and provides guidance on how to maintain optimal oral health through daily home care. Amber believes in creating a comfortable environment for her patient while providing the highest level of care available. She enjoys researching new products and studying the strong correlation between a healthy mouth and a healthy body.

In her free time she enjoys boating and scuba diving local shipwrecks with her friends and family.
